What is the Drop-in Visits service?
This service involves the pet sitter traveling to the client's home to care for the pet within their own house, ensuring its basic needs—food, water, a quick outing for bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning for cats, or administering medical treatment.
The schedule and duties are set directly with the client based on needs. These can all be discussed in the internal chat within the TotoPet app before or after placing the order.
Note that this service includes the pet sitter being allowed access to the client's home. The access method and meeting with the pet are extremely important and must be agreed upon in advance by both the pet sitter and the client.
How do I activate the Drop-in Visits service?
If you wish to offer the Drop-in Visits service, you need to configure and activate it.
Go to the top right of the homescreen and click the button with three lines.
Ensure you are in HOST mode.
The main dashboard for sitters is TotoCenter, where we will set and manage the services offered.
Go to the "My Services" section and click on the "Drop-in Visits" service.
The service will be activated once you enter the prices you wish to charge.
The number of visits applies for a single day.
Set the prices as packages for 1, 2, or 3 visits per day – all fields must be completed.
In the MULTI PET section, you can charge an extra fee for each additional pet you care for in the client's home.
For example: if you're paid for 1 visit, but the owner has 3 animals, the calculation will be: price for 1 pet visit, + 2 extra animals (the price for each additional animal entered in the Multi Pet section).
Choose the action radius from which you wish to receive orders. The distance is set relative to your current location in real time.
If you wish to travel to pick up an order, increase the action radius as much as you deem appropriate.
In the next section, you will need to fill in the number of animals you are willing to visit at a client’s home, including both dogs and cats.
Tick the "Accept Cats" box if you want to visit cats.
Select the dog sizes you wish to visit, and the service will be active for those dogs.
Choose the size of the dog you are willing to care for safely. Do not select large or giant dogs if you do not feel comfortable with them. Safety comes first!
The next section is for describing your services.
In this field, describe as clearly as possible how you operate, your rules, and what a normal day would look like with the client’s pets.
The last field to complete is the pet sitter’s home address, which will be used to calculate the distance to the client.
Click the SAVE button to finish activating the service.
If you have correctly completed all fields, the service will turn green and appear as Active.
